Before the wedding, Marissa, Karlene, Tina, Krislyn, Kevin, and I posed in the nursery.
Chris, Mikey, Ben, and Jeff are apparently figuring out how much longer Ben has left.
After the wedding, Tina, Marissa, and Karlene snuggled up with Ben.
Chris, Mikey, and Jeff propositioning me one last time.
Now, I'll treat you all to the fascinating story of the courtship and wedding of Ben and Regina. For those of you nauseated by the idea of this tale, this would be a good time to use the back button. We met on August 19, 1992 in Drama class. We were in band together, too--were we cool or what? Anyway, on September 24, we were officially together after sharing our first kiss on a park bench swing at Hatfield Park. On December 26, he gave me a promise ring, and on March 24, our six month anniversary, he took me to swing where we first kissed and dropped down on one knee. I said yes, of course, and then Ben prayed over our upcoming marriage and carved our initials in a heart into a nearby tree. We were wed on March 12, 1994 at New Heights Baptist Church in Tuttle. My sister, Karlene Gottman, was the matron of honor. Ben's brother, Chris Garvie, served as best man. My bridesmaids were my sister, Marissa Pace, and my friend, Tina Valentine. Mike Randol and Jeff Smith, Ben's friends, were his groomsmen. My niece and nephew, Krislyn and Kevin Gottman, were the flower girl and ring bearer. Our minister was Randy Russell, our ushers were Derek Wedel, Matthew Price, Nathan Carlile, and Christopher Price, our photographer was Raylene Somerlott, our videographers were Dan Price and Bruce Wedel, soloist was Marissa Pace, organist was Linda Russell, pianist was Stacy Wynn, reception attendants were Lynda Price, Mary Falling, and Nancy Watkins, Jennifer Garvie was the guestbook attendant, and Mary Williams was the coordinator. So, there's the credits. Without them, we would have had to have gotten married by Elvis in Las Vegas.
